Fearless is a high energy assembly that combines professional magic, comedy, audience participation, storytelling, multimedia and exotic animals to deliver a message about courage, curiosity, perseverance and finding what you love.
45 to 60 minutes, your school's choice. It can also be split by age, with the younger students in the morning and the older students about an hour later.

Wade didn't get into magic because he thought it would become his career. He did it because he loved it.
And there was one problem. Wade has a STUTTER, and public speaking terrified him.
Magic gave him a reason to face that fear. Today, Wade performs professionally in front of audiences around the country and teaches students that the things we see as weaknesses don't have to define us.
Our weaknesses can become our superpowers.
What are you afraid of? For a lot of students, the answer is spiders.
An impossible piece of magic leads to a real tarantula, and the story of how Wade's curiosity became another passion.
Wade keeps more than 15 species, at times over 200 tarantulas, and shows select ones on the big screen through live video projection. Nobody touches them, and every student gets a close-up look from their seat.
He also breeds his own exotic tarantulas, species from all over the world. It was one of the hardest things he ever had to learn, and he got there through one thing: perseverance.
Students learn that the things we're quickest to fear are often just the things we don't yet understand.

How long is it, and how many shows in a day?
45 to 60 minutes, your choice. It can also be split into two shows by age: younger students in the morning, older students about an hour later.
What age group is it right for?
Elementary and middle school. Splitting by age means each group gets a show pitched to them. Tell me the grades and I will tell you honestly if it fits.
Are the tarantulas safe, and do students touch them?
Completely safe, and students never touch or hold one. Instead, everyone gets an up-close look on the big screen through live video projection.
Wade keeps more than 15 species, at times over 200 tarantulas. The one in the magic routine is an Avicularia, a docile, harmless species kept as a pet. Nobody is dared or singled out.
What do you need from us?
A gym, cafeteria or auditorium and a power outlet. Screen, sound, lighting and props all come with me, and your staff never lift a thing.
Is it a magic show or a character education program?
Both. It is funny first, which earns the attention the message needs, and the theme runs through the whole show. It fits character education, SEL and PBIS, enrichment, celebrations and special events.
Can the message be aimed at something specific we are working on?
Up to a point. It is built around passion and courage, and the tarantula routine pairs well with kindness and anti-bullying work. Tell me your focus and we will talk about the fit.
What does it cost?
It depends on the date, your location, and whether you want one show or two. Send the date and you get a straight number back.
Your school may not have to cover it all. Many schools fund character education assemblies through outside sources:
- BOCES. Many New York BOCES run an Arts in Education service. Assemblies booked through it can qualify for BOCES aid, which reimburses part of the cost the following year based on your district's aid ratio. Ask your BOCES which programs are approved.
- Title IV-A. Federal Student Support and Academic Enrichment funds cover safe and healthy school work such as PBIS and bullying prevention. Ask your business office or federal programs director.
- Your PTO or PTA. Many school assemblies are paid for by parent groups.
